800 X 480 with Mobility Radeon

Has anyone achived a 800 X 480 resolution on their Xenarc with the original Mobility Radeon video card?

You wil almost certainly be able to do this with powerstrip. Use the settings from the Xenarc website.

have a look at my posting on this thread. I know what you mean about the PowerStrip and Radeon Mobility incompatibility worry, I read lots about that myself. All that I can say is that I've had some success with this config at 800x480.

My apologies, I got ATi Mobility confused with the ATi IGP.
Do a search on the EnTech forums for 'mobility' to see what you can dig up.

First, you should check if your card supports 800x480.

Right click on Desktop -> Properties -> Settings -> Advanced -> List All Modes...

In the window, if you see 800x480 (32bit) listed, then you're in luck. Download Powerstrip and follow instructions on the Xenarc site.

If you don't see it, you're out of luck. Forget it and run it at 800x600.
