Xenarc 'high-bright' option - $195???

Xenarc is offering a 'high-bright/optical enhancement' option for their 7" screens for an extra $195:

Anyone done this/is it worth it? That page says it works best on non-touchscreens, which is fine by me since I don't want touchscreen.

Suprised there's been no discussion of this option in the forum.
