Post alright, check these specs and prices...

8.0" 1440 x 234 PA079DS1 191.4 x 144.6 x 11.5 NTSC/PAL 2 CCFL/25k 350 150:1

this is a TFT lcd that is selling for 230$. The only thing that worries me about it is the 234 horzontal pix. There is another model below it that is an 8.4" model, with 800x600, so if this one is 230, I wonder what 8.4 would be? But thats not my worry just yet, so what do you guys think?

Corey

hmmm.. there's no link...

the 1440 pixels are for Red Green and Blue, which means that it's actually 480 pixels wide.

I think th 800x600 is much more expensive. It has more than 4 times as much pixels (sharper image, but much more expensive to produce...)

Hope this helps you out.

Greetz

Charles - is this the 6.8" from parts express? I guess it must not be if it is really an XGA (1024x768) capable display. I thought you used an NTSC input - does this also have a DB15 hookup? What kind of controller card do you use? Thanks
