Ran into the next 7" model lilliput on ebay...

couldn't find this anywhere on the forum when i searched, but it looks exactly like the 629GL but with diff buttons... this one is the 639GL

anyone know if this is any different? less problematic?

EDIT: PS its from everyones well known 'official' lilliput distributor electronicar. thought i'd point that out

Lilliputs are not problematic anymore. Everything has been fixed and all of the known issues have been fixed. This is monitor is made for headrests. It comes with the headrest shroud and a headphone plug on the front.

I was talking more about the 619 and 629 monitors. The indash is a whole different story

Looking at this cable (http://www.ex-audio.com/ebay%20pictu..._new_wire2.jpg) I think it is more like the 619s.

that would make fitment directly in a double-din slot width-wise( double din is 190mm wide) a tad tight from my experience due to the usb. whereas the 629 is one plug for everything and it is recessed farther into the center of the monitor. ( i know the monitor is 128mm tall, and i also know double dins are approximately 109mm tall.) i am only referring to width for fitment ( i dont want anyone thinking i'm trying to stuff this whole thing flushly into a doubledin slot)
