Post How do I know if a LCD from a laptop ect is compatible w/ my SBC's lcd controller?

Hello,
I just got my hands on this SBC:
My new sbc

Looks great for projects! It says:

C&T 65545 LCD controller supports 36-bit TFT Panels

So, how do I know what lcds support it? Or will most newer lpatop screens work? Thanks for your help!

That looks like an Advantech board. They have an LCD compatibility section on Advantech's website in the support section.

Actually, it is similar to an Advantech, but it is not. I believe Aaeon actually makes those boards. With a google search, I found the product manual. For any more info than that, or to find out whether a specific panel works, your best bet to to contact Aaeon support.

Most of the big brand
names LCD's work by default such as NEC, LG and Sharp for this reason we do
not have a support list. If you have a particular LCD you wish to use we can
most likely make modifications to correct your display. If I have not
answered your questions in full please do no hesitate to contact me.

anyways, now I have to get my product or money back. I have been in a bad mood lately and I can get the mailing address from paypal I think. I wont hesitate to drive to texas and pay him a visit!
