volume indicator

does anyone know of a way to kill the position sensor on the xenarc 7 inch non-motorized indash. Whenver it is leaning back I get this little window that says ))) 0 and the only way to get it to go away is to make the screen sit upright. My dash is slanted so the screen can't stay upright. I can't find anything in the settings, so i'm wondering if there is something I can just disconnect.

a pic would probably help but the 0 you mention is it the one that comes up when u press the volume up and down if so maybe there is a faulty button press for volume down happening on your unit when it is in that position

yeah it is. If i tilt the screen in a certain direction that volume goes up. When the problem i'm talking about happens the volume goes to 0, but it doesn't disappear it stays on the screen. I guess the next question is if I don't use the speakers that are built into the screen would disconnecting the buttons solve my problem?

Does sound like something is "pushing" the volume button (maybe a trapped cable or something) and it's as if you were holding down the volume-down button (thus the readout stays on screen). Check to see if something is becomming trapped
