Unhappy Lilliput not powering on, where to look?

Ok, so I just got a brand new lilliput not even 24 hours ago from the mp3car.com store (great service btw). It looks pretty sexy.

I took it out of the box, tested it, everything was great.

So now its time to move it into the dash mold.

I carefully disassembled the lilli (I could do it blind folder ive done it so many times) and put everything in the dash.

Took me about 30 mins (i went slow) but finally I was done! I was about ready to take it to my car and get things back up to speed since I have been without a screen for 4 months (no $$)!

First, I thought, let me test it real quick.

Plugged in the power..... NOTHING!

You got to be ****tin' me!

Unplugged, rechecked all my connections etc. NOTHING.

What the heck is going on. What would cause the lilliput to do nothing? No lights, no screen action, nothing. I am using the AC adapter it came with. The thing worked an hour ago when I tested it. Now here I am with a powerless lilliput .

I have some quick pics I took. I have taken my old lilli apart many times, this one didnt seem any different. Everything looks ok from what I can tell.....

Any clues or insight would be appreciated. I have no idea where to look!

I think I have a case of the lilliput blues!

Well I found the solultion.

Apparently the ribbon that goes to the button panel needs to be aligned to one side and not centered.

The connector is actually a fraction to big for the ribbon.

See the picture below
