there is actually a place that will install brightview for you on any lcd screen,
now the only problem i see that i havent asked them about is touch screen. i dont know how they would get around that but you can still check them out.

they gave me a quote of 100$ for my hp nc8230 laptop that doesnt come with the brightview option but i wanted it bad the screen size is 15.4" ..
oh and brightview might not work so great in convertibles becuase of how well it reflects light. but if your screen will never get direct sunlight on it in your car you should get it.
