i have a 7 inch lilliput in my car, the computer went down several months ago and has been sitting in my room. I havn had the time to try to fix or rebuild the computer so the touch screen has been sitting in my dash since then and i havnt used it. when the computer was last used i had no issues with the screen, everything worked fine. today i powered up the screen and the display worked fine but the whole touch screen was dead.
After some searching around the forum i downloaded the updated drivers but still no luck. the controller reads and writes to the touch kit but the touch surface doesnt work at all. Ive taken the screen apart and everything looks like its connected and should be working. im figuring i need to buy another touch screen surface unless someone knows something ive missed in my attempted diagnosis.
