Question LCD's and Magnets

Ok, dumb question....Will magnets on the back of my LCD display screw it up? I was thinking of using them to hold it in place while it's in the car (I'm making mine removable). They're not going to be incredibly strong, but I wanted to be sure...I know they screw with CRT's, but I wasn't sure about LCD's (and yeah...I know they're entirely diferent technologies...)

Thanks all!

unless you drop a screw and the magnets attract it towards the screen and it sticks into it!

Magnets affect CRT's because the electron gun aims the beam at the screen using electricity. A magnet attracts the electrons and can unintentionally magnetize part of the phosphor, causing it to attract or repel electons, disturbing the picture.

LCD's don't use this technique. They individually turn on and off every pixel.

Thanks, I didn't think so, but I hadn't tried it, and I wasn't sure if magnets effected the technology used in LCD's at all. I didn't really want to find out with my new $250 touch screen!

Thanks!
