help on lcd

hey im a neebie to this whole thing.. i got my 1.3 gh carputer working great in the house on the tv.. im using tv out as my video signal because my lcd flip in dash moniter is rca. anyways it works fine on a regular tv. the only thing is when i put it in the car it cuts out to go to crt just as windows welcome screen comes in.. and well i go to change it and it says no moniter present .. but the bios just loaded in it.. go fig??? maby a signal boost would help? anyone could give me a pointer? i wish i got a proper screen with vga on it.. thanks everyone

Do a little searching using terms "RCA out" or "TV" or similar. This comes up fairly regularly and there is some good stuff out there on it.
