MTSVO-SC actually working?
Well, after a short hiatus, it appears that the MTSVO-SC screen is back on the mp3car store.
I was going to buy one a couple weeks ago, then a bunch of threads started popping up about people having various problems, so I held off.
My question is, does anyone have anything good to say about this screen? Surely someone out there has a version that is actually working.....or have they all gone bad??

Mine is still working except the contrast settings which aren't stored in memory after a close/open. But that's because I have one of the first models. I got mine at the end of June as far as I can remember.

Bump....Anyone else??
So far I've read about inverters blowing and wacky touchscreens to name a few things....
I'm curious to know what percentage of people have good experiences with this product. MP3Car is still selling them, so there have got to be some people who have them working....
Anyone, anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

I was just about to buy one off her, when I started hearing of all the problems with the screen, so I decided to hold off for a bit.
Let us know how it goes with your screen after a while....it's so rare you hear GOOD things about any of these screens, really....nice to know some people have them working.

i bought a k301 from cappaccino. so far so good. ts works great. lcd looks great.
only problem is the vga cable sticks in the firewall, so the head unit protrudes past the dash (about an inch).

I should follow up on my previous post. I thought my touchscreen was dead. mp3car said, no prob. Just send it back and they'll replace it.
Then I discovered the problem, after a day of working fine, was the usb extension cable I was using. Beleive that!? The extension cable was shot. Used a different one, and now its been working for a couple of weeks. I'm not really using it in a vehicle at the moment, so I haven't really put it through its paces. But it does seem like a good screen. If it continues to be flawless like this, its well worth the money.
