Xenarc 8" or Liliput 8" touchscreen?

I'm trying to decide if the xenarc is worth the extra 200+ dollars. I'm not too keen on the quality of the picture, more so on the reliability of the unit itself. Does liliput offer quick return time for defective items? I've read a few posts saying xenarc is pretty fast with their fixes. Any comments?

Ask any of the multitudes of users who have had their Lilliput screens fail on them. Then ask the very small amount of users that have had their Xenarc screen fail on them and make the decision yourself.

^ Thanks. You've just reiterated my question in statement form and failed to understand and answer my question.

Well, he did answer part of your question... I think it's a pretty clear statement about which has been proven more reliable in practice on the forums, once you see through his usual sarcasm.

also you should keep in mind that xenarc seems more open-minded about modifying the screen in any way (ie- molding it into your dash), if you check their FAQ you'll see that they do still offer a limited form of warranty for a month if you do decide to disassemble it... so if you're looking to take it apart, xenarc would probably be your better bet... plus they have a reputation for being easier to take apart without breaking anything.

Thanks for replying evandude. I didn't know that about xenarc but that is good to know. I went ahead and purchased the xenarc as I've been reading liliput having issues.
