Any thoughts? Can I get a filter for the RCA input?

Well you bought it from a place called SHORT CIRCUIT what did you expect.
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
I haven't had these problems but I have seen info in the LCD FAQ's about isolating power to lcd from power to H/U.
If noone has a solution for you I would check there.
