VGA to TV converter

I just bought a VGA to TV converter box yesterday so that I could produce video on multiple monitors (head rests). It is basically a plug n play device (no drivers needed) that has the following connectors: VGA in, VGA out, and TV out. I run a VGA cable from my PC into the VGA in, and plug my monitor into the VGA out....and plug my Video out into a Y-splitter that goes to both of my headrest monitors and viola....i've got the same display on three seperate screens. Text is fuzzy, but videos are great....so there you go, a solution for the video on multiple monitors issue that many people have.

Problems:

1. This was a $99 solution...does anyone know of a cheaper one?

2. It requres external power...does anyone know of one that feeds off usb?

GRANDTEC USA's PC to Video EZ and Ultimate2000 are both USB or PS2 bus powered. They have VGA IN and VGA/composite/S-Video OUT.

My only questions is can both the composite and the s-video be used simultaneously to feed 2 headrest monitors? Anyone have any experience with these?

3onDubs: Did you have to manually adjust the picture with the converter to get the image to look centered and full?

Got an answer from the guys at GrandTec:

Yes both of those units will support both outs [edit. composite and s-video] at the same time.
Thanks.

Recently I bought a VGA converter manufactured by AV TECH from Taiwan, and I think this product is quite good after using for a week. The price is cheap and lower than other VGA converters, but it's quality is much better than I expected. The image output on my LCD monitor is very sharp and clear, and the installation is very easy. No additional driver program is needed. In addition, it can also work with other image output devices, such as DVD Player, DV recorder...etc. The connection line can be extended up to 50m if needed. (I've done the testing and the image is still very clear within 40m without any distortion!)
Below is the information for this VGA converter. If you have any interests, you can take a look
