Installing LINITX 8" TS

Hi All,

I've just put my 1st system together and I'm trying to install my new LINITX TS but just can't seem to get the TS Side of things working ...

...the instructions are fairly vague but I've followed all the installer steps but the config utility just doesn't seem to recognise the TS. (although the monitor side of life is fine!)

In device manager, everything seems to be working ok so I'm stumped ... does anyone have a list of things I should check?

Your help much appreciated

Cliff

did you install the drivers BEFORE pluging in the USB for the touch screen?

Yes Paul I did ....

Ok - so I've fiddled about with this and it does technically work. I say technically because the TS function works but the config utility refuses to recognise the TS (it scans all available com ports and find nothing)

I've managed to configure the TS through device manager so I'm not so fussed now ... still annoying though that the intended config util doesn't work! ...

What speed USB ports are you using?

I asked about the drivers thing cos thats what I did (it was late and i was excited to play with my screen) and no matter how I tried the screen wouldn't pick up on that USB port, pluged it into another port and it was fine. Perhaps you could try another port and make it install it's self again.
