xenarc power question for adding a camera
Xenarc 8inch TS
I have my current setup getting power from the computer power supply through a molex connector. The cpu is powered by an invertor. I was thinking of adding a camera to one of the external av jacks.
Should I bring in separate power from the car via a relay off of the reverse lights? I figure relay since if I Y the power when the computer is on it would backfeed the lights.
Will the intermittant supply of power this way whenever the car goes in reverse cause premature failure of the screen?
If I do not find a good way to use this screen the adpater to feed images through the nav radio is about $275, for a gm vehicle.
