Are lilliput's or xenarcs shielded?

I want to put a center channel speaker right underneath (or above) my screen. I haven't purchased one yet, and I'm not sure if what I'm asking even makes sense. I know if I put an unshielded speaker next to an unshielded TV, all the rays of the CRT get all bendy and discolored. Does this sort of thing happen to LCDs? I want to do this for center channel sound, and want to make sure it's even possible so I can plan out how I'm going to do it.

no, you should be fine, the reason that happens is because crt's use cathode rays, which can be eff'ed up by magnets. lcd's obviously don't use these and so you should be fine.
