network cable to RCA video
I got a hold of a LCD screen off of a store display for some childrens game council. Anyway the video in cable is a network cable. Is there anyway to convert this to a RCA video cable? Thanks for the help.

not sure what you are talking about, but i've used this method to extend video cables before. I use these converter boxes to run the video across a CAT-5 cable across my house. never had a problem with it.

Yeah, without some sort of data sheet, can't really tell you much.

i agree you will probably need to see some specs from the screen. my link was simply how to convert RCA cables into RJ45. you can probably do this for the video, but I'm not sure what lines on your board are for audio/touchscreen/etc...

extending composite video on RJ-45 is simple
assuming that his RJ-45 connector is composite standard signaling is one heck of an assumption

you are correct. i stand corrected. I guess I didn't read his question fully before I posted the link.
I am in no way saying you should mess with the other wiring until you know what they are. don't take anything for granted at the risk of damaging the display.

i think the circuit boards on the back of the plexi glass that the screen is mounted on has nothing to do with the screen but was part of the "V Smile" counsal demo this thing was attached to, what do yall think
