Newvision 7" Touchscreen problem

Hi,

I have a problem with my touchscreen, the calibration is very off on the right side.

Is there a way to correct this problem other than buying a new touch panel?

Re-calibrate?

The software should be able to fix that... Does it not?

Try changing your resolution. Does any resolution help?

Nup doesnt help, its the touch screen part that gives the problem.

I took the thing apart today and tryed the recalibrate program, it didnt help so it not caused by the casing pressing the screen.

I had the same prob with mine. It's a faulty touchscreen, which is common with the lilliput/newvision monitors. I sent mine back for warranty, and the new one is so far so good.

Who makes newvision touchscreen displays?
I've done a search on the internet and found very little.

Does anyone know who to ask if there are problems?

I'm having also a Newvision display. The NW711VT indash model. Also my brother.

We have the same problems with these models.

1. screen is unreadable in daylight.
2. screen is flickering when volume is set to 25%

I had contact with the german office, but the are withdrawed, so i have to send the models to Honkong ( with a very high transport cost and a lot of work for the douane)

I So i'm not amused with these displays and i have the idea the models are very cheap while i've paid a lot for them.

don't know if you want to sent them to honkkong ? costs fot transport : 125 Euro for a 3kg box.

Don't waist money send back to hongkong.
The sunlight/daylight readable is the problem with all screen currently on the market except the transflective upgrade offer by the site.
If the touch panel is fauty, buy new replacements panel from Amen at digitalww site. It's much cheaper buying new. You can get 2 panels for much less than the transport cost of sending 1 to hongkong.
