Does anyone know if I can use a pioneer AVX 7300 display without a pioneer 'brain' (like the avr-8000). I just want to feed it video and let my alpine gear handle the sound. All the documentation (manual) shows it connected to an avr brain unit. The other screen I'm considering is the parts express found here:

Both screens have the same pixel count and the parts express includes left/right tilt + a tv tuner (woo hoo). The price is the same for either one. I think I'd still do the pioneer though, if it'll work without an additional control unit. Any thoughts?
