i was having a problem with my lilliput 629 a little while back. it seemed like after about 30-40 min of operation, the windows screen would shut off and the monitor would say "no vga signal". sometimes it was accompanied by the edges of the screen changing to white. i would try fixing it by turning off the monitor, cooling with my air conditioner, switching between signals (av1 and av2) to no avail. i would have to put my comp in hibernation and then the screen would come back up. after a couple of times of this happening, i changed two settings in windows, the screensaver default time to 4 hours and in the control panel-power-turn off monitor- changed to never. haven't had a problem with it since.

anyway the perplexing thing about this is that it ran fine for 2 months and then started doing this. during the previous two months, the screen saver (windows default screen saver) would pop up occasionally and be fine. it seems like after those two months, when the screen saver would turn on, it would give this "no vga signal" and no monitor. is it maybe due to the resolution or something changing?

i just wanted to give noobs with lilliputs a little tip to change these two settings if they have spontaneous shut down and wondered if any any advanced users had any idea why it shuts off from turning on screen saver.
