need replacement ribbon cable + connector

hey all.

i bought that ebay EX-Audio screen a little while back. screen is great. lilliput rip off i suppose.one problem though: shoddy assembly. i had to open it up (voiding the flimsy warranty) and disconnect and resolder the touchpanel 4 pin connector since it was loose. i fixed that .
the second issue was the video cable. the larger ribbon ( how many pins is it?>). the cable's socket on the controller board was missing a plastic clip, so the ribbon kept coming out. i tried to thicken the ribbon with tape then glue, but nothing worked for too long. in my frustration i also ended up puncturing the ribbon cable itself on a solder end. right now im using it with minimal colors (glued cable, etc) it looks quite ****ty.
anyway, i need to find a replacement CABLE as well as the socket on the controller. Please help me locate a place to purchase these. I have no idea what they are called.
thanks.

I owned that crap. My F U's go out to Ex-Audio. Fixed the problems all on my own. Those A-holes told me I voided warranty by fixing the first thing (opening case). Fixed the ribbon cable problem. Had to check for broken conection within ribbon cable and used wire thread to patch 2 broken wires (of 40 wires). The clip that held it was broken so I took this plastic battery cover from something, sanded it down to a wedge the same size as the one that it originally used. Except my battery cover was llonger and allowed me to Loctite the end of it to the plastic at the other end of the battery cover. Held that **** in place. Anyway, this is just a lesson to buy a Xenarc or Lilliput, not ebay ****, unless u want to be frustrated as hell and have to fix it urself once it breaks (and it will)
