Xenrc colours too dull, what has the best?

I'm rather disappointed with the look of my Xenarc screen.
My mobile has a much more colour rich or saturated look to it.

Is the a better screen for colour than the Xenarc?

You can adjust the coloring, add saturation, etc using either the xenarc OSD, drivers for your video card, some kind of third party app like powerstrip or a combination of all of them. I bet with a little tweaking you will be happy with it. Its worth giving a shot first since its free.

I have played with the settings and do have it much better than it was out of the box, but no where near as good as a normal screen.

Is this one of the reasons that people increase the backlight?

the backlight mainly effects the overall light output or "brightness" as some might call it. I havent used a xenarc i use a liliput... you should search for pictures that people post of their screens and compare them with yours, maybe your screen isnt working right or your expectations were too high when you got it.

Xenarcs are generally considered the highest quality screen. I've never heard complaints about their color. You may have a bad screen or very high expectations
