Lilliput 629 Auto detect and switch

Does anyone know if the 629 will auto switch from VGA to regular video input if it detects a signal. I have my pc connected via VGA and my headunit also plays DVD's so I was wondering if I throw a DVDr will it switch to video without using the remote.

Reason I ask is because for some reason my pc won't play DVDr's

ahh, this sucks cause my my remote can't get the signal to the LCD behind the dash. My 629 has a ribbon cable for the buttons not like my old 619 which had regular wires.
