No 640x480? wtf?

Ok, my carputer is almost all ready to go and im testing out different resolutions and for some reason I dont have 640x480 as an option...I made sure the driver was installed from the VIA website, and I had the option for 640x480, but I switched to 800x600 for setup reasons, and now the 640x480 option is gone...wtf did it go? Any help is appreciated

Probably just windows attempting to be "smart" again. Try this:

Go to display properties, Settings tab, hit the Advanced button. Go to Adapter tab, hit the button labeled "List All Modes" and find what you want in there.
