multiple displays problem

I got one VGA touchscreen monitor and 8 RCA in monitors hooked up to 2 Video amplifiers. When i tested the car pc indoors with a RCA in screen and a vga monitor, both worked fine outputting displays on both screens. (im using ati radeon 9250 video card for vga + s video out). Anyways, when i put it in the car and try it, when i check "extend my windows desktop onto this monitor" (display>settings) Its not detecting anything hooked up. My S video out is going directly into a Video amplifier outputting into the screens. I tried again with the S video out going directly to one screen, and it works fine, but for some reason it wont detect with the Video amplifier. However after trying it directly into one screen and had it working, i took the s video and put it into the Video amplifier and it worked fine, but then when i reboot, i have to hook it into another standalone monitor, then back into the Video amp for it to work liek that again. Anyone got a solution
