Xenarc causing noise (powering issue)

Ok, so I just got done with installing my Xenarc screen. I am getting a small line noise issue when the screen gets a signal (beit from the AV2 input or the computer). So the noise comes through my speakers only when the LCD gets a signal.

Now the Xenarc is directly wired into my cigarette lighter (just lopped off the end) and the connection is solid and a good ground as well. It is NOT the comptuer causing the noise as well because even when I didn't have the computer it would make the noise with the AV2 input.

1. Do I need to give the Xenarc regulated power? I don't think so because it handles this internally -- it must because the cigarette lighter adapter has no electronics in it and they intend you to hook it directly into your car then.

Thanks, any ideas will help!

PS: There is also another issue where the AV2 doesn't come on automatically when sensing a signal (if the monitor is in standby) but I'll start another thread on that.

I have the same problem with my Xenarc. Wrote to their support and they told me to turn the volume all the way down.
