Question Splicing comp. out

How do I connect 3 comp. LCD's to 1 tv-out?

I am thinking of using a Matrox G450 on my carputer. With it and the DVDMax function I am going to have one main display in the center console (10-12" touchscreen) and 3 smaller (5-7" comp.) displays in headreasts and such.

i think that it will be prretty hard, how will you tell wich lcd to display what? would be like talking to three ppl through one telephone...and telling them all different things.. i think you will have to go with 3 tv-out cards, someone else knows more about this?

No, you are misunderstanding. The G450 DVDMax function sends all overlay windows to the TVout. All the comp. lcd's will be displaying the same thing, video.

Can't you just take a standard video cable, and splice it so that you have 3 different strands? It's pretty simple, and you don't need to do anything fancy.

most of the rca splitters i have seen have been amplified... if you are going to be seperating a signal into 3 signals, i would recommend some sort of amplifiaction device. look around online for something, wiring it up shouldnt be that had since most have a ac->dc transformer with something close to the voltages you see in a computer.
