Help me plz, my screen lilliput 7'' is blank!

Hi guys,

Please give me some advice, first of all, I took out a screen from the case and mount it in my dash, and I messed up the ribbon cable (the cable connect from the board to the screen). So I ordered a new one, and it worked fine. But right now, the 4 wires that for the touch screen is no good, then I asked my friend to solder it for me, Also he soldered the power button, so I can turn on and off the screen whenever I want, Everything is look good now, but once I plugged in the power, the screen is just white, I can't even see anything, Also I can't change the mode, like VGA or something like that. Thanks.

Btw, just in case if the screen is dead. Do you guys think all I need is buy a non-touch screen monitor? Then I can use the touch screen from the lilliput ? thanks.

here is some pictures of the screen. The one I circle, that is what my friend soldered. thanks.

white screen, usually indicates an incorrectlt seated ribbon cable.

please do a search for lilliput and white screen.

yes, exactly, and by the way, the ribbon cable. the way that connect to the board is not tight, I tried put something in in to make it tight.

Also, I tried to move the cable, and it's still white. Am I soldered anything wrong ?
