As of now (unnoficially) one size will be enhanced for consumers, 7". No speculation will be made on any other sizes.

once you start to go 10.4" & bigger the choices open up tremendiously... if yoy have room for a 10.4" there are high bright models & daylight viewable models out there ready to go.... it's the 8.4" & down that are severly limited in whats available, necessitating this upgrade in the first place.....

all normal lcds are transmissive, I think you mean transflective....
I have a solution I'm working on with BOE hydis lcds that are supposedly sunlight viewable... I'm still working out the details & waiting to do actual tests, but it looks somewhat promissing... theres a thread in the lcd forums for 180 deg sunlight viewable lcd's.... I'm going to wind up with a few extras to sell, but not until I confirm just how good they really are...

Transflective and Saw touch screen
I don't want to mess up this bussiness, but those with higher than 7" that needs upgrade, i might be able to help them getting transflective and saw touch. we don't have an ata when other size would be available at the mp3 store, but we can't wait for ever. I just sent mine 8.4" nec lcd panel to Taiwan to get Transflective and Saw touch.

I don't want to jack this thread & have no intentions of steering anyone away from this solution in this thread... if you want to discuss alternatives to this transflective upgrade please do so in my thread , which shows the screens I'm working on... I'll discuss other stuff there too, no problem

If you look at one of nmbenson's earlier posts, the price for a transflective w/o touchscreen was quite reasonable. I personally think this would be the first "option" to pursue before going into 5" screens, 10" screens, other brands (xenarc vs lilliput vs whatever) etc. This would cover people who don't want touchscreens at all, and those who want to install their own (non-resistive) touchscreens.
I am also interested in upgraded transflective LCD with no touchscreen.
But I live in Germany.
How do I come to such displays as a German?
Perhaps there is somebody who sells its display to me?

Please keep them informed in another thread so there is no confusion over what you are proposing and what FPD and MP3car.com is proposing. Thank you.
