I do have a problem with the touchscreen though. Sometimes if i turn off the monitor and turn it back on, the touchscreen would not work. The mouse cursor would be stuck at the bottom right corner when i try to touch anywhere. If i connect a mouse, the mouse works fine while touchscreen is still acting up.
My only solution is to wait 5-10 min and it seems to fix itself. Or sometimes i just restart the pc a few times and it works. Definitely very strange.
Yeah when I made this thread a year ago, I had no idea what a "Lilliput" was pretty much let alone that they were all the same.
I think I f'ed it up though. So if you are good to it, dont expect problems. Just odnt plug in the power while the VGA is sending a signal I suppose.
As per your intermittant touch problem, how are the usb power settings setup?

I checked the ALL the usb power settings and it's not in power save mode or anything of that nature.
The touchscreen USB is plugged in directly on the motherboard.

I think i found the solution to the touchscreen problem.
I just did a 25 points linearization calibration and it seems like the problem went away.
I tried restarting, standby, turning screen on/off multiple times. I cannot replicate the problem. I hope this is a permanent fix.
Maybe this will help some ppl in the future.
Update: the fix didnt work. The screen is having the same problem again. =/

I hate to resurrect an old thread, but, has this been resolved? I'm planning on buying an EBY701 and I want to make sure it supports 800x480 or 848x480.

It supports 800x480 and that is the default resolution.
However, it is impossible to resolve. I did trace it back, and the video processing chip is a little black. So I have blown my 800x600 and 800x480 resolutions. 640x480 and 1024x768 work just fine.
Also at least my screen, automatically seems to scale the image. I do not have any sort of stretched image, so I have no clue what people talk about when they want 800x480. The standard resolutions look absolutely perfect.

I know this thread is a little old, but I just had the same issue with my eby701.
as a previous poster said, went for the brightness button, hit auto adjust by mistake and blammo! Out of range.
Got it running at 1024, but didn't like the itsy bitsy windows.
So I started fooling around with settings. Tried changing hz first. nada.
Then started fooing with an old nvidia agp card I had lying around. Still no 800x600. but 848x480 (but acting funny) and 1024 (too small).
Then I tried a bit more unusual setting. 960x600. Success! But the odd thing is, the OSD says it is running at 800x600!?!
Time to start resizing my jpegs.................
Maybe I'll start fooling with powerstrip and see what's what........
Hope this helps someone out there somewhere.
Cheers
BJ

can someone please post which screens DONT have this problem?
this sounds like a nightmare. I've never heard of a screen that likes 1024 but can't do 800 by 600. Is it too much at ask the manufacturers to test out their expensive *** equipment before they ship out?

Just installed my Lilliput 809GL, pressed the auto adjust button, now 800X600 is "out of range". I'm going to try some of the other suggestions in this post. What would cause an "auto adjust" feature to cause the LCD to treat 800x600x32x60 as "out of range"? Makes little sense...

I've had a few issues long ago similar & it turned out the Lilli I had didn't like certain refresh rates, might be one thing to try...

I had the same issue with a 702 that I bought from mo-co-so.com , I had 2 Lilliputs plugged in with a VGA splitter and one of them would display 800x600 and the other one wouldnt, then I'd put it in 1024x768 and both worked!
So I returned it.
Now Im having issues with the 703's

Did some more fiddling around tonight and got 800x600x32x75 to work. I can now boot to windows in 640x480x32x60, and then run Road Runner at 800x600x32x75.

I tried 75 on my 701 a while ago, no joy..........
Doesn't seem to care for any hz at 800x600.
