just got me last night. anyone test the new EEPROM?

Also, I sent another email to Lilliput with this thread linked, hopefully they have some more suggestions. EEPROM replacement would be very nasty, hopefully there's someway to reprogram it on the board.

I have a Worklog, but I have to take pictures as it's completely out of date now.

I just got the dreaded "out of range" problem about an hour ago... I was going for a drive and went to press the brightness button only to accidentally press the auto adjust button, and good bye to 800X600 resolution.

It just so happens that I recently replaced my laptop in my car with an itx desktop, so I quickly swapped the laptop (still configured as it was when it was in the car), and nothing. It does work with 1024X768, although I would really like to get it back to 800X600.

Has anyone tried replacing the 24c16 eeprom chip yet? I would like to give that a shot, but I am afraid of completely destroying my screen when I can just deal with a higher resolution.

I am just glad to see that I am not alone in this
