Question for MTSVO-SC owners

When I had my system on the testbed, I had the MTSVO-SC screen set at an angle almost vertical. I have now mounted it in my dashboard, which has a fairly significant overhang which would definitely make contact with the screen when it's vertical.

The MTSVO-SC remembers the last position/angle it was set at before the system was shut down.

However, I forgot to set the angle of the screen to a safe angle before mounting it in the dash. So, my question (and asking a favor) of anyone who has an MTSVO-SC screen is:

The next time you start you car, or your testbed, when the MTSVO-SC is *still opening*, can you try pressing the down arrow on the face of the screen. It's important that you do this *while it's opening*. I'm curious if the screen opening/tilting action can be stopped in mid-motion while the screen is opening simply by hitting the down arrow to tilt it forward.

If not, it would mean I have to remove my screen from its mounting and adjust it, which I'd rather not have to do, but I don't want the screen to hit the dashboard and possibly damage the gears.

So, can someone help me out and just do this super-quick test and let me know if hitting the down arrow halts the screen from opening any further?

Thanks in advance.

No, the buttons are ignored when opening or closing.

Ok thanks for that info. Guess I have to undo the mounting and then set up my custom safe angle. Oh well.
