Inverter Voltage for LQ9D screens
Hello guys,
Yesterday i got finally motivated and started working on my LCD screen. Its a LQ9D023 (same as LQ9D021 and LQ9D02C).
I was connecting the screen to Allens controller card.
Anyway made the VGA cable... using MIDI port plug and an old VGA cable...
Then i started working on the inverter bit. I'm using the inverter that cames with the screen. It has 5 pins from which 4 are connected in pairs so basicaly there are only 3 pins to work with.
One is Ground, Vcc, and the control. Looking at the Allens controller there are something like 5 pins that will give you two 5V outs one ground, one +11v and the control.
So what im trying to figer out is how many volts does the inverther need to operate. I connected the +5v Line first but the screen was half lit... then i tried the +11v and i nearly fried the inverter.
Then i thought i might need something like 6-8 volts so i connected 9v to it and it looked ok but i couldnt use the controll anymore...
So the question here is what voltage do these inverters need to operate correctly? Its the standard inverter that comes with the screen. What voltage did you guys use?
