Most of you are using the M1000 mainboard, but I've opted for the CN1000 board instead as I have no need for CF card reader and the CN1000 give me FOUR native USB ports which I'll need al of them and the option to add another 8 USB ports by just plugging in the cable. Frankly I don't understand why more people don't go with this particular board. BTW, I see two USB cable in the picture of the DWW-6500. I imageine one to be for the USB Screen interface and the other to be the DVD Drive.

the M10000 doesn't have a CF slot.... the MII does....

this post is rather interesting, not quite sure what to think of it....

For those who may be interested, the DL065A is available for pre-order through Froogle as well.

I'll probably be picking up one of these when they are released. I like the Froogle price: $10.00

Actually what you are seeing is the thinner USB cable coupled with the thicker cable which will interface with your car's radio connection behind the dash.

(Unless that circular opening between the bundled cables is for the antenna....but that still doesn't explain the size variance in the two cables bundled on the left)

I would LOVE to see the manual though..........

The link on froogle takes you to Panda Innovations...and I like their price better than Digital WW's........that might just pay for faster shipping!!!

One of the cables is the VGA cable and the other is the USB cable.

I stand semi-corrected!!!!!

(Makes sense, no other visible d-sub connectors)

Only semi- because we really don't know quite for sure. That pic isn't very revealing. I want a manual!!!!

There are some 50+ images and details about this screen at the address below.

http://pandainnovations.com/product....2&cat=0&page=1

This is definately a high quality unit. The drive system seems to be built sturdy and the screen quality is good. The viewing angle is also good in most directions other than down. When the screen is down (to access the DVD drive), the angle is too much. But other than that it seems great. One benefit I notice is that when you see too much glare on the screen (I'm sure we all know about this!), you can move the screen angle just a bit and it's gone!

Very nice unit overall.

Oh and when in VGA mode, you can flip between audio sources on the front panel!

Merged with the main discussion thread on this unit.

Considering what the unit includes (AM/FM tuner, 4x45w amplifier, 6.5" touchscreen, DVD drive), the price isn't that bad.

Looks like an awesome unit, however I don't think I like the idea of having a Power and Reset button around the other function buttons. Knowing me I'd hit it by mistake and have to wait for it to reboot

The day they add radio control via USB will be a huge step in the right direction!
