Is the single usb cable in the back strictly for the touchscreen and the drive will use the mini-usb port to the right of the slot?

I sincerely hope not............my entire project being completely successful is somewhat riding on this unit.
Manual, manual, who's got the manual????

does it have an aux in i wonder
Someone mentioned earlier whether or not the DWW-6500 has a aux in that is active when the VGA PC input is active. This is biggest concern for me, otherwise, the built in amp isn't going to do me any good except to listen to traffic reports on the radio. Even if it doesn't would it be possible to wire an aux input you think?
and by the way this is that exact unit from global resources, someone just picked the wrong one of their site.

Anyone have an idea how the pc power control featuer is going to work? through usb maybe? hope that when you switch modes to radio it wont try to shut down the pc or something...
I hope they improve on that radio graphical interface... kind of rough as it is now.

When they get front, rear, and sub RCA outputs, with decent (5+) volts, I'll get one.

What he means is that the seller has never sold anything on ebay so here you have a seller who is selling a product that is not even on the market yet. You can't put alot of trust into it. Tie that in with the fact that you have two posts, coincidence?

Armen at digitalww.com is selling these screens. I had some e-mail exchanges with him last week and he said that the product will be available in a few weeks. Initially it was suppose to be at the end of this month but the designer of the product was reworking the pc board design which is causing the delay.
If you are just getting into your project, this is worth the wait IMO.

Okay i read the first couple posts and the last page. So this may have already been asked. Anyone know if it is possible to control the radio from the pc. Then you can keep it in vga mode and control from pc with touch screen. That way it wouldn't matter what the built in radio control was like because we could just lay something out in RR or something. Of course if the buttons on the front are easy enough i guess it doesn't matter.
Just my $0.02

Personally, if you can fit a double din, get a single DIN Pc, and then a single DIN lilliput flip out. Or something like everyone else, a seperate PC, tied into the current audio system (check my cardomain).
I'd love to have a double din screen, but, there's things it MUST have for me to use it on my sound system.

Front, Rear, Sub RCA outputs, no less than 5 volts. With independent control, crossover frequency adjustments for each set.
