Hey guys, I was trying to splice the usb cable for the touchscreen to add some more length to it. (I know, I should have bought an extension cable) I was trying to get it all done tonight and thought that it would be okay to just splice it as long as it was clean connections. Well, I was surprised to find when I cut the usb cable for the monitor, that there were non standard colors. No big deal, just hack a standard cable and figure out what goes where. Everything seems to be connected okay, but the touchscreen does not work. The wires that were in the liliput were Red, Orange, Yellow, Brown. I figured these to match Red-Red, Orange-White, Yellow-Green and Brown-Black. Does anyone know if I can revive my stupidity and save my touchscreen? Sucks, cause I got everything else spliced and working right and was able to relocate the PC to the rear cargo area.
Thanks for any help...
