I have a Xenarc TSV with a busted control board. Can I just buy any Xenarc non-touchscreen and put the good touchscreen overlay I have on it? Will that work?

should do, as long as it's the same size. one you calibrate it, it should be good to go.

why not try it on your monitor? I know the proportions won't be correct, but you can think relatively

The touch controller that ships with the TSV plugs into the controller board and sends its signals down the same single plug interface that connects to the Xenarc controller board. You would need to make sure that the new controller board has a place to be able to plug in the touchscreen controller also.
