lilliput 619gl crazy colors!

for some reason my liliput 619gl screen is showing some really crazy colors. like blues, fuscias, purples instead of the normal picture

does anyone have any ideas of a way to repair this?

i have reconnected the harness many times and it is not doing anything
i've also tried removing power

Hmm... probably loose ribbon inside. I don't know much about this screens, so I hope somebody else jumps in here to help. Have you searched for your particular problem to see if anybody else had the same thing?

yeah i saw that earlier... thats why i posted

i think im in his same boat about exchanging it... and dww is out of stock on the cables

i tried to reset it a couple times and still no dice.. this is very disappointing

another thing is that the VIDEO 1 green text displays fine... however the menu back ground is all purple

it does the same thing w/ vga input so i have concluded it is not the wireharness for rca...

so maybe i do need to replace 40pin cable

Problem Fixed! It was a nightmare messing w/ that ribbon cable but i finally got it to work right and while i had it apart i removed the vga stuff, touchscreen (not needed for xbox), and put a 1ft extension cable on the IR receiver.

Cool, I figured it was gonna be that little ribbon, seems to be the biggest prob with those screens.
