Screen edges with RCA inputs...

I did a search but can't find any answers. I got a cheaper brand LCD in-dash screen. Input from the video card is RCA only. I can't seem to get the screen edges to line up correctly with the screen. I know the screen will go further because i've run it a different resolution and it does move there but running at 800X600 it won't line up properly. I've tried to use the screen adjustment to move the screen but it will either go too far or not far enough. Any software I can get to correct this? I've tried Riva tuner but that wont work.

Sounds like a driver-related issue to me. I have an ATI card, and the driver software that is included is excellent, at least in my opinion. It allows the user to move the onscreen image in very small, discrete steps, both horizontally and vertically.

I purchased the video card from CompUSA for less than $40 new (and I'm sure I could have gotten a better deal online). So, you might look for a different video card.

Yeah I'm using the onboard Via RCA video out on the mini itx motherboard for a Epia800 motherboard. So I guess it's not going to be the best thing out there. I only have 1 PCI slot and I've got a sound blaster hooked up to it cause it's way better than the stock standard onboard sound. I could try the S-video out but the screen is still RCA only. No VGA unfortinately.

What i'm looking for is a program I can use to fine tune the screen size apart from the utilities provided with the video drivers. It will only run @ 60Hz

Gotcha. Best of luck then.

it isnt the best quality, its almost impossible to read text, if you can at all. Other then that, it dosent bug me at all.

Try running the screen at 640X480, it will help, if xp will do that.
