I have one Hitachi LCD like the ones used in Lilliputs or Gain. And one Toshiba lcd. I want to use the toshiba lcd with hitachi parts(back light, controller...)

The actual cable coming from LCD panel is different, (http://www.diyprojectorcompany.com/i..._016_small.jpg) and i cant hook it up to the hitachi part. Is there anything i can do about it?

Different physically, or different electrically?
You need datasheets for both panels to see if they are similar, then if they are, a simple rewire may work.
If the use different signalling systems (LVDS versus TTL for example), you have some work to do, that more than likely will get expensive.
