resolution prob

im using a rage 128 pro tv out card. when i connect the tv out it changes the resolution on my main monitor so i can't get to the start button or anything on the top of the screen. my monitor only has horizontal adjustment. i also tried to adjust this in the properties but it won't let me do any adjustment on the monitor setting. screen res is at 800 x 600.

help!!!

if i can't do anything with this i am going to try to install a second vid card just for the monitor.
