I'm having some big issues with my touch screen. It started off with the monitor calibration not keeping it's accuracy. The calibration seemed to be affected by temperature. Over time it got a bit worse. Eventually I started experiencing lockups where the touch screen wouldn't respond. It was somewhat intermittent.
It's gotten to the point where the touch screen freezes after only a couple of clicks. Sometimes it stops responding completely, and even a reboot doesn't fix it. Only unplugging the USB cable and plugging back solves the issue. The most recent fun is a few occurrences Blue Screens of death after touching the screen.
Is it just my touch screen controller that's gone bad, or could the panel itself need replacing too?
Oh... I have a Lilliput screen. It's been transplanted into one of the in dash kits from digitalww. I did the transplant about two years ago, right after I bought the screen from the mp3car.com store.
