So I received the unit back from Armen a few weeks ago. Apparently it was sent to China for refurbishing. When it came back, it looked refurbished & was been nicely repackaged & such. I can tell it is my old unit, because it has all my old presets still programmed in it. Any way, right out of the box, the radio didn't function properly. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Now, it doesn't function at all. I feel that my warranty was failed and the unit wasn't repaired at all, and Armen isn't responding to my messages to him. Now I have a broken unit, and conveniently the warranty is expired during the 3.5 month so called refurbishing process. If anyone following this thread wants to buy it for a fair price, let me know. Here is the add for it. You'd get a nearly newly refurbished unit, brand new installation harness & everything. The amp, and touchscreen work wonderfully. Won't say so much for the radio... ... maybe you'd get lucky? I'll post a link to the for sale section when I find the time to post an add there. This is probably my last post in this thread, as I will be getting an in dash lilliput now. Should've done that to begin with.

do you really think the lilliput in-dash will get you out of trouble? Have a look around at comments about it.

I don't think you are going to find the interior diagrams...China made product and not too hot at that (seems to follow trend of plenty of stuff made there!). How do you think you toasted it via those lines, did you run power in? I've tested those circuits lots of ways and still seems fine. If you do metered testing you'll see that there is nothing. It almost seems like they are wires to nowhere. Now that i am sure my warranty is long gone, I am going to have myself a peak and see if i can figure out some simpler things, maybe like those damned PC switches. sorry no diagrams for you, if you do find though, post up.

well im not too sure how i fried them up.
i haven't really hook it up after that incident due to exams coming up after spring break.
but the main idea is that the live wire touched the ground(which is the metal casing) thus short circuited it and i thought i smelt something burning but im not too sure. it might be just my car.

and when i turned it back on, with the ignition & power, the main display which usually shows some words doesn't display the same words as it usually does.
so i assumed that i fried something.

i know i blew the fuse of the cigarette lighter cos i had to change that.

but i couldn't find any fuse on the HU that i can replace .
the power fuse was fine
i used a multimeter to test it.
