Pyramid question

I had a Pyramid 7.2" LCD screen given to me and I have a few questions.

I know this isn't exactly a car pc question but ...

I have a Boss DVD-2000 car dvd player, and I was wondering how to connect it to this screen? the screen only has a cable coming out of it, and it is a 6 pin mini din (ps/2 connector) on the end. I can literally plug it into my keyboard/mouse connector. The question I have is ... where could I get a cable to connect to this? And also, the DVD player has what appears to be a headphone jack that says video out .. is the output signal from that suitable to connect straight to the LCD screen if I take wire it correctly?

your more than likely missing the pigtail for the screen. You should be able to find a pinout somehwere. Are there 6 pins or 4? IF the screen has sound then 2 are power/ground, 2 are video, and then 2 might be for sound...

As for the DVD player, you might need a MINI to Audio/Video RCA adapter like the one below:

If that is the case, and the monitors have RCA in (at least the yellow-video wire), then yes; they will be compatible together.

The connector is a 6 pin mini Din (ps/2 style) but I took apart the screen to see if there was a speaker in it (there's only one) but only 4 of the 6 pins actually have wires connected. As for the DVD player, there are two jacks, one for video and one for audio. The audio one is a standard headphone style jack .. i've hooked it up to my stereo and it plays the music from the dvd. It's just the screen part that I can't figure out.

The screen is a Pyramid MV7SC and it has controls on the side ... a power button and "up / down" buttons with an "m" button between them .. maybe for contrast and/or volume for the speaker?

Other than that, there are no connections on the screen, no rca inputs, etc.
