What resolution are you running with your lilliput 7"??
I just got one today and testing it out. I can't get the vid card to scale down to 800x480 (recommended resolution corrected?). Therefore, I'm going with 800x600 right now. After several attempts to do the 15points linearization, I got the screen to be somewhat accurate with the stylus pen.
What I want to know is, is 800x480 the best resolution for this screen?
Are most of the frontends made in 800x480?
I downloaded powerstrip, but I have no clue how to get the video card to scale down to 800x480.

A lil report.
after downloading Roadrunner, I found out that it has a whole lot of screen resolutions to choose from.
I'm a happy camper so far, at 800x600, touchscreen is still accurate.

I run at 800x600 and it looks fine.
One day maybe I'll try to get the holy grail of 800x480, but not sure if it'll look any better.

I was just trying to browse the web with the 800x600 resolution, the words are stretched and makes it hard to read. Maybe this is where the lower resolution is better? Or should I try to enlarge the fonts from the browser?

if the screen is 16:9 then the native 800x480 resolution will look the most sharp and un stretched. Since 800x600 is a 4:3 ratio it will looked stretched on the 16:9 screen. I ran mine at 800x600 and its liveable....tho my next system will suport 16:9 resolutions.

dont know enough about powerstrip...i would first see if your video card can even put out a 16:9 resolution. In windows go to display properties... then settings... advanced settings ... adapter tab. at the bottom there is a button "list all modes" if there is nothing at a 16:9 ratio (800:480,1280:768 etc...)... if so hit the 800x480 option and see what happens wehn you run powerstrip! good luck

It looks way better, but I don't know if at your age you'll notice the difference.
I been running 800x480 since the begining.

There's a guide on Xenarc's website, I believe.
http://www.xenarc.com/faq.html
Keep in mind that it will not work on motherboards usiing the S3 Unichrome graphics, which includes all of the Via EPIA motherboards.

I'm currently testing all this with my laptop (widescreen), but surprisingly, no widescreen at 800x480.
ices11, I really didn't have to do anything. The lilliput displays the whole screen, windows just stretches a bit, that's all. When I turn on roadrunner, everything looks perfect.

RR will fill the screen. If you dont want it to look stretched just use a skin that is designed for your resolution whether that is widescreen or not is up to you.
