It is a known issue of this product.

Look here

It is a 80 pages thread long about indash lilliput problems.

I need a picture of the front of your model in order to know which model you have got.

I will need to send it back.

I'm thinking that the link coucouillu posted was completely lost in the shuffle.

Try this: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=54684

You never found that link, did you? Why? It's hard to find in the NavBar across the top of the forums, amongst a lot of other crap.

TELL MP3CAR YOU WANT A LINK TO THE FAQ IN A MORE OBVIOUS, NOTICABLE LOCATION HERE.

You guys are amazing, this guy can not speak english and has 1 simple question

"Can the lilliput be reset, and will that help with this volume problem"

The answer is probably "yes it can be reset, remove power to it" and
"no this probably will not help as it sounds defective"

I hear some people have had great success with sending their units to digitalww, and that he repairs them pretty cheap.

NOW FOR THE GUYS POSTING "use search" and "look harder" WHY DO YOU EVEN COME TO THESE FORUMS? IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO HELP SOMEONE THEN DONT GO INTO A THREAD THAT LOOKS LIKE THEY NEED HELP. YOU SEE HOW I HAVE BEEN A REGISTERED USER FOR 2 DAYS AND KNOW THAT YOU ANSWER A QUESTION IF YOU ARE GOING TO POST. OR DO YOU REALLY WANT ONLY THE FEW PEOPLE LIKE YOURSELF ON THESE FORUMS???? BECAUSE IF YOU KEEP ACTING THE WAY YOU ARE YOU WILL RUN OFF THE OTHER uncargods.

Oh and you really think sending this guy to a 80 page post about how the product sucks is a good idea? How does that help? Oh other than you being able to "prove" once again that this product sucks (because of the huge thread about how everyone hates it hahahah omg this is great 80 pages) Now come on is that helpful? So then your posts are nothing more than SPAM. Those 80 pages do not answer my questions about the product and I have read EVERY post.

FISH

(btw I understand NOT answering a question that is easy and on the first page, but his question is burried in 80 pages of blah blah blah "this product sucks")

xixFISHxix, thank you for your post above, it helps a lot in this thread named " indash liliput problem ".

About all you right, only the sentence "I hear some people have had great success with sending their units to digitalww, and that he repairs them pretty cheap." is relevant.

So with your pics I could say that this is the old model and it sucks.

I am more precise here :http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/show...postcount=1098

First look if you have skills and tools to do what i explain in the link above.

Not sure what your issue is, but NO ONE HERE IS A PERSONAL ASSISTANT, well, perhaps there are, but I know that the people who posted above are not. Just because a question is asked, and the person is not only told the answer is here, but given the chapter (ok, not the page, because the entire chapter is relevant, but 80 pages) instead of told X, Y, Z, doesn;t mean he wasn't helped.

Besides, the fact that it is 80 pages SHOWS you that there is no SIMPLE asnwer.

Now, it is a shame that his english isn't great, and I am sure that has led to his inability to effectively search, but he WAS SHOWN where the answer is. Should someone also translate it into his native tongue for him.

Like I said, there is no simple answer or fix to the problem. No one could post a simple, This is what you do answer. It just doesn't exist.

Cool In Dash Lilliput problems addressed

I will post another more detailed thread in the reviews section, but Lilliput has released a 3rd generation gl-701np/c/t in dash motorized monitor (It isn’t available with the TV tuner yet). It was released in limited quantity on 11-01-06. It looks identical to the 2nd gen until you look closely at the hinges that control the monitor flipping in/out. They are shorter and much wider. That is the only physical difference on the outside that I saw. Inside they are using a totally NEW board. If you want pics let me know and I will post them as well. I have both external and internal (I could resist dissecting one).
The areas that were addressed are:
Motor strength
Poor gear quality
Programming issues like the one described in this post with the radio
Not being able to play the sound from the PC through the stock speakers without an external amp. Please look in the reviews section shortly for more information.
