which lcd mount setup do u guys think is better???

I'm starting my Car PC soon but i'm having problems deciding on how to install the LCD touchscreen.

i listen to FM and AM radio a lot so an aftermarket HU is a must for me... Also I really really want to keep the HU Cover so that why i can't use an indash motorized lcd. The car is pretty new and i cannot custom fab it with bondo or fiberglass since i have no prior experience with it and would not like to practice on my new car...also i really don;t want to use the pci radio as the reception i heard is not that great... anyways

I just bought this

ive been researching all the different installs on this forum for the past few years now and this is the best setup i can think of for my situation

VS

The first setup requires the least amount of work and is easiest for me all i have to do is build a Single DIN enclosure with sliding rails attached to the LCD case which has mounts already built in so that means i won;t void the warrenty. Also i was tihnking of using a couple of servo motors to motorize it...the only bad thing i can think of is it won;t look OEM....

-The second setup is a tons more work which involves taking apart the LCD screen to fit it in a smaller housing which will void the warrenty... I would also have to extend the lcd screen out more so the lcd would lower enough to install a Single DIN HU instead of the DVD drive you see there.. I really like Jetkit's idea for mounting but i don;t know if all that work is worth it...

Anyways this is the only valid LCD installations i can think of for my situation...

Well I think you bought a 7" screen right? Are you aware that the screen and casing combined is bigger than a din width. So There will probably need to be some modification. Good luck though.
