Unhappy TFT screen color probs

Hi all,
today i wanted to start configuring my system - I tooked my brand new 5,6" TFT out of its box where i putted it after first testings. First i connected it to satellite recevier-
Wooo- cool - people with green faces how scary - so i putted it to TV OUT and made a red/blue green Yellow image to test
red turned to green
blue turned to kind of violet
yellow to light green .

Someone with an idea how to make it work properly ?
Bought it on ebay so don't no of warranty [ very ]

Thanks

Felix feeling

[wanted to post some pics of it but don't have the usb cable of my digi.cam here ]

I am not certain, but I bet you got the Part Express 5.6" screen, just a screen in a silver case with an exposed PCB on the back and a small white ribbon cable going from the PCB to the screen?

If so I have the same one and there is 4 little orange pots on the PCB, one is marked color and also another one marked tint. These should fix the color screw ups.

Hi ,
Thanks for reply dug1967

No don't think we have the same TFT
I Have this one : http://www.tcfb.com/aurora/56LCD.HTM

It's the TM 56K (bottom of the site .

Actually don't wanna open the screen because I'discussing with the guy who sold me the screen on german e-bay .

After some tests i got the pic sometimes right - but red color is still not strong enough

is cost me 189€

Next time I'll buy one from a store with warranty

Felix
